How does online therapy work?

Sessions are conducted via Google Meet or Zoom in a secure, private video call. You need a smartphone or laptop, a stable internet connection, and a quiet private space. The meeting link is included in your booking confirmation email.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person?

Research consistently shows that online therapy is equally effective as in-person therapy for most conditions — including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues. Many clients find attending from home actually makes it easier to open up and engage consistently.

How long does therapy take?

This varies by your goals and situation. Some clients see meaningful progress in 6–10 sessions for a specific issue; others benefit from longer-term support. We'll discuss this openly during your first session and revisit it regularly as we work together.

Is everything I share kept confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is the foundation of therapy. Everything shared in our sessions is strictly private. The only exceptions are situations involving imminent risk of harm to you or others — a standard legal and ethical requirement for all mental health professionals.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your session at no charge via the link in your Calendly confirmation email. Cancellations within 24 hours may attract a 50% fee. Life happens — just communicate early and we'll work it out.

What languages do you offer sessions in?

I'm comfortable conducting sessions in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. Many clients prefer a natural mix of languages — that's completely fine. The goal is for you to feel at ease expressing yourself however feels most natural.
